The first thing clients notice at a Sparkle Shine pedicure is what is missing: the big foot tub. It is on purpose, and once I explain why, most people never want to go back.
The problem with the tub
Whirlpool pedicure chairs are famously hard to sanitize. Water circulates through pipes and jets that most salons cannot fully clean between clients, and warm water is exactly what bacteria love. Soaking also over-softens the skin and nail, which makes cuticle work less precise and leaves polish more likely to chip.
What I do instead
Steam therapy warms and softens the skin without waterlogging it. Warm towels do the rest. Then a paraffin dip locks in moisture and leaves your feet feeling like you slept in socks full of lotion. Every tool is either single-use or fully sterilized, and there is nothing shared between you and the client before you.
Which pedicure to book
The Signature is the full clean-up, shaping, and polish. The Deluxe adds exfoliation and a longer massage. The Luxury Spa pedicure is the one to book when you want the whole hour to yourself. Add a hand-painted design on your toes if you want a little something extra.
